Hot acid washing removes surface oxides, and an acid mist suppressor is added to inhibit the generation of hydrochloric acid mist. The induced draft fan draws the hydrochloric acid mist through the inlet and duct into the acid mist condenser and acid mist absorption tower, where it combines with sodium hydroxide solution to remove the acid mist. The heat source for the acid washing tank is boiler steam and waste heat from the annealing furnace, with an acid washing temperature reaching 60-85℃.
